Cecil County Men’s Shelter

The Cecil County Men’s Shelter, often referred to as Settlement House, provides IMG_0569transitional housing for men who are experiencing a period of homelessness in their lives. The Men’s Shelter is within walking distance to medical services, social services, and employment opportunities. The men to move toward independence, greater self-sufficiency and increased hope and wholeness by receiving referrals to medical and mental health providers, help with a job searches or pursuing education, case management, the hospitality of food and friendship, and individual and small group interaction.  The Men’s Shelter works closely with the Veteran’s Administration and reserves six of the fifteen beds for veterans who are experiencing homelessness.
