The Meeting Ground Emergency Rotating Shelter provides shelter to individuals and families experiencing homelessness during the cold winter months. We are blessed to partner with local churches and other organizations to offer this service to the community. For those interested in securing a place in the rotating shelter, intake takes place Monday-Friday from 8am-11am at the Mary Randall Day Center. Information on intake times will be updated here each week.
Meeting Ground provides transportation and program management, while the churches provide space and staffing. For weeks when host churches are not located in Elkton, dinner will be provided by the church. Thank you to the over 35 local churches who help to make the rotating shelter a beacon of hope to those without homes during the dangerously cold weather. Last year’s ERS ran from November 28, 2016 through March 19, 2017.
